As an endorsed public high school teacher in Washington State, I have taught High School Government, Current World Affairs, and Social Studies. I have published seven articles in three different ISBN registered academic journals in Linguistics, American Literature, and Education. As an online tutor, I have used an interactive based teaching approach to be sure students progress step by step with a focus on utilization and controlled practice in each lesson. Over the years, I have learned all I can about the diverse learning styles of my students and have made my classes a place where students feel challenged, yet comfortable. My goal as a teacher has been to draw out of the students’ courage, imagination, and leadership, with the goal of developing their self-confidence.
