I have been a teacher for the past 8 years, of both English and French.
Studying languages in university, I very quickly realized the potential of having different means of communication in our world, not just in our careers or our travels, but in our daily life. Being able to better connect or even blend in makes our days more interesting. I simply want to share this potential with others.
I have worked so far on 5 different continents, students from 2 to 70 years old. I have taught in schools, universities, kindergartens, language centers, corporate trainings and private settings.
Each and every work experience allowed me to broaden my range of techniques and methods in order to best fit my students' needs. Having students from various backgrounds and levels has always been an enjoyable challenge to me and I constantly look forward to the next one!
I created my own style of teaching over the years and base most of my classes on, ...well, fun!! I try to encourage my students to explore the topic of the day and use the language associated through games, role plays, situational practice and conversation. I really love turning my class into an exchange as opposed to a lecture.
I believe each person is different when it comes to learning and therefore try to make my classes as unique as possible every time, to best match needs and expectations.
