Hi, my name is Erika and I am from South Africa. I am a qualified teacher with a B.A. Humanities degree, a PGCE and TESOL Certification. I taught in South Africa and Vietnam. I have lived and worked in many different countries in Europe, Africa and Asia, and thus know how it feels to communicate in a language that is unfamiliar.
I am available to teach all types of students ranging from beginners to advanced and would love to know why you want to learn English. The lessons will be centered around your goals, whether it is to be able to pass tests, move to an English Speaking country or hold a simple conversation. I aim at keeping lessons relevant to what is going on in society and the world around us. I will work with you to bring you to a point of having fluent conversations about your interests and things relevant to your world.
We will work on reading and speaking fluency, grammar, pronunciation and overall understanding of the English Language in the English world. We will work hard to learn and improve your English, but with my experience in Teaching English as a Second Language I will make sure the lessons are fun, interesting and engaging. In all of this You the student will be the most important thing, your growth and development. I am excited to teach you, and I hope you are excited to learn.

I was in charge of a teacher team and making sure that their teaching was above standard. I worked alongside a management team who's first language was not English and learnt to communicate proficiently in order to make the center run as smooth as it could.
