I am graduated of Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro in Portuguese Language and Literature. Since then I am working as private teacher and text editor, but my objective is just be writer. Usually, I write short stories and poems.
The better way to learn a language is talking. If there is any doubt about pronunce or speling, the grammar and the etymological knowledge can find roots in common between our languages, doing the apprenticeship easier. Or they can show us fake cognates and the students will be able to avoid these mistakes. Plus, I like to point what is formal and what is informal, in Brazilian Portuguese. But, if you are just a beginner, we can start with simple phrases, like "good morning", "good night", "how are you?", "nice to meet you", etc.
As a native of Rio de Janeiro and living here since then I born, I can tell you more about our culture, habits, places to visits and, maybe, I teach you how to speak Portuguese with our accent. So, if you want to learn Brazilian Portuguese, send me a message. I will be happy to be your teacher.
