My name is Mitra. I am teaching Cultural Studies and Communication at a university in Spain, and have a passion for teaching the Persian language, Persian literature, and Iranian culture. However, this is a pity that we do not have any Persian language or Iranian Studies programs in our university. Thus I have decided to teach Persian language and literature through online platforms. I am interested in teaching some courses on Persian language and literature to those who are studying Persian language and literature at the university level. Also, I would like to help you understand Iranian society, culture & media (including Iranian cinema) better. Particularly if you are a translator or a journalist, I would be able to help you learn ''Media Persian'' *, the Persian language we use in Iranian Media. Or, if you would like to learn Persian poems *, I am a perpetual reader and lover of Persian poems, so we will enjoy reading and comprehending them together. My classes are student orientated, educative and dynamic. I design my classes to meet the language goals of the learners of all abilities. I have been teaching on Verbling since January 2018. * The rates for the 'Media Persian' and 'Persian poems' lessons are different from other subjects such as grammar, conversation, etc.

I am Raana, born and raised in Iran and my native language is Persian (Farsi). I studied Graphic in Italy and I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design. For me, teaching is more than a profession, it’s my passion! I've been working as a tutor for over three years now and have done online lessons with more than a hundred students so far. As all the teachers, I have been developing expertise in lesson planning, assessment and evaluation of students, however, I should specify my current teaching methods. The most important thing for me to know is the purpose of the student to learn Farsi. In other words, for what reason the student intends to learn this language. Knowing this helps me so much to choose the best method of learning for the student. In general, regardless of the student’s purpose in Farsi learning, all the classes include listening and speaking practices. Whether the student is a beginner or an advanced learner. Giving homework is in the curriculum of study BUT only if the students themselves desire to have it. There is no force to do homework from my side. We are all grown-up people here. :)
