If you have little free time, but you find you're struggling to speak English, can't express yourself properly, and you're feeling frustrated. Come on over, and discover that Online English language learning with me can be a great solution and whole lot of fun! I'm an enthusiastic, fun loving, British, TEFL qualified English language teacher who has been working in several primary schools in and around London, England. Since September, I have been teaching online and enjoy the flexibility, mainly working with students from France, Italy and Spain as I'm a fluent French speaker. I am currently teaching students of varying abilities online with the focus on improving fluency, pronunciation, confidence and flow. When you sign up for your trial lesson, I will send you an English level test which will help us know which areas we need to focus on and where your repeated errors are. I take immense pleasure in personalising each lesson and get tremendous joy helping students to improve their English skills in a relaxed environment. Language learning naturally flows better if everyone involved is relaxed; this is what I strive for with my lessons: they are well structured, stimulating, lively; enjoyable and customised to your needs. To help you solidify what you have learned after each lesson, I have a homework verification system in place, which is quick and efficient in measuring your progress. Click on my video introduction to see how to get started. See you soon.

Learn English the easy, interesting “NATURAL APPROACH” way with Jack who has 15 YEARS OF INTERNATIONAL TEACHING at universities and companies in China and Chile. Hi, this is Jack in Auckland, New Zealand. I help you learn English as you learned your native language without being “taught”. You learn RELEVANT SUBJECTS in English that will advance your studies and career while enhancing your personal development and relationships. You learn English as a TOOL for COMMUNICATING. I teach English using the “NATURAL APPROACH” as developed by the renowned American linguist, STEPHEN KRASHEN (https://youtu.be/eTVbdstastI). No one at first directly "taught" you your native language--you ACQUIRED IT NATURALLY by learning to USE it to GET THINGS DONE. There is strong evidence that the best way to learn a second language (English) for COMMUNICATING IN THE REAL WORLD (and not merely to pass tests) is through learning subjects that are relevant and important to you in ways that are fun and stimulating. I am a WORLD CITIZEN with 3 citizenships and 15 YEARS OF INTERNATIONAL TEACHING at universities (MBAs) and companies in China and Chile including professional editing of business and university writing. I have taught English to ages 5 to 65. As a COUNSELOR I have 10 years experience in the Human Services in Australia. I was an ENTREPRENEUR, architect and builder for 15 years in Canada and Australia. Now in New Zealand I teach Academic and Career Preparation to international students from around the world. My teaching is based on in depth, international scientific research and consideration for individual and cultural learning differences. My expertise is in intrapersonal knowledge and interpersonal communication skills with a background as a counselor and educator for organizations such as Relationships Australia (https://www.relationships.org.au/). I am a couples and singles relationship counselor starting up and managing an introductory agency in Brisbane, Australia in 1997, Partners for Life where I appeared on TV (http://bit.ly/2eUXrNR). My strength is to create a learning environment in which participants feel both challenged and supported. I provide HUGE RANGE of FREE DIGITAL MATERIALS: my 37 business courses, dictionaries, pictionaries, academic and popular books in business, psychology, philosophy, politics, economics, et al. as well as audios and videos on these disciplines of study. Here are some of the skills and knowledge I offer and can help you acquire as you naturally learn English: • Business Soft Skills: interviews, resume writing, negotiation, project management, et al.—37 courses for you • IELTS and TOEFL examinations: Preparation for highest scores • English for Specific Purposes: medicine, law, finance, et al. • Professional Editing: Business & Academia (undergrad papers, postgrad theses) • Career Start or Advancement: coaching for resumes, job interviews, personal statements, etc. • Cross-Culture Studies: Differences in communication, management styles • Arts and Humanities: Literature, art, architecture, philosophy, et al. • Soft Sciences: Psychology, sociology, history, economics, et al. • Human Services: 25 years including Palliative Care, Aged Care, Health Care, Relationships Education, Parent Effectiveness Training, Montessori education • Personal Development: Life and Executive Coaching Come experience learning English “naturally” with me as an exciting adventure of self-exploration and self-knowledge that will help you become an International World Citizen at home in all cultures.

Hello! I'm Paul and I love English and helping people communicate well. I've spent years teaching and tutoring in Thailand and Vietnam, so I understand the cross-cultural differences of languages and the challenges that all ESL speakers and writers face. I'm CELTA (Cambridge University) certified, and I spent 20 years as a writer and editor for newspapers and magazines in the US, Japan, and Thailand before I began teaching. This means that I have an in-depth knowledge of language as communication: I used it for many years before I began teaching it. My college degree is in English with a concentration on writing. As a former journalist, my specialty is teaching writing: not just written English, but the superior use of it so you can communicate well.

*** CURRENTLY TAKING ON NEW STUDENTS*** My name is Chris, I’m from London, England, and I love teaching English as a foreign language! I'm a professional teacher who has been teaching since 2012 and I want to make your English learning experience unique and get you to fluency as quickly as possible. After years of experience, research and listening to student’s feedback, I believe that there are 5 principles that make you learn languages fast and effectively: 1. CUSTOMISATION - Learn what you want to learn and get personalised feedback from a professional at the end of a class and in a video within 24 hours of your class. 2. MAKING MISTAKES WITH DELAYED ERROR CORRECTION - Build up your confidence and fluency and find out what wasn’t correct later. Repeat your corrected sentences and vocabulary after class with an audio track. 3. MAXIMISING SPEAKING TIME - Maximise your precious class time by speaking as much as possible and get to fluency more quickly. 4. MOTIVATION - Keep your excitement for learning and avoid those moments when you feel bored of learning. 5. ACCELERATED LEARNING TECHNIQUES - Let me use my skills, activities and games to make your progress quickly in an area of English you are weak in. I’d love to see you in a class if you are considering taking classes with me, and I’d be very happy to help you on your journey into the world English. I’ve had some wonderful first classes and met so many great people throughout the world since I’ve started teaching online, and I’d be delighted if you were one of them. Most people understand what the trial lesson is, but it’s not always clear to everyone. Please just look at the points below to check you know what you are booking. Before your first session starts please consider the following: - Using a microphone with earphones or a headset will give much better sound quality to your lesson. Using computer speakers will probably result in echoing. - Google Chrome seems to be the best browser for Verbling Video. - Doing a test call on Skype with a friend or family member will give you a good idea of how strong your connection is, and if it is sufficient for a class on Verbling. If the speech isn't clear, try turning off the camera. If the speech still isn't clear, try to reconnect. If you are still having problems, upgrade your internet connection. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THE TRAIL LESSON IS: - A 30 minutes introduction class. - An opportunity for you to see how the lessons work. - An opportunity for you to ask me any questions. - A way for us to create a plan for your learning goals. - A way to test your internet connection - Occasionally the connection can be problematic for some new online students. - A way to get to know each other. THE TRIAL LESSON IS NOT: - A cheap way for you to get your CV or written work corrected. - A lesson which is focussed on the areas in which you need to improve. - A cheap way to get a 30-minute conversation class with the active intention of not continuing. Of course, if you decide that I am not the right teacher after the class and you wish to find another teacher then that is perfectly fine. N.B. I exercise the right to accept or refuse to give lessons to certain individuals.

Hello Friend! I hope you're having a great day! My name is Brent and I am from Santa Rosa, California. My hometown is in the California wine country, a beautiful place with outstanding weather. I have lived in Japan for thirteen years. I lived in Osaka for one year and then moved to Tokyo. I came to Japan because I am a poet and I love haiku. Japan is a wonderful country that has changed me in many positive ways. And the sushi...wow. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Literature/Poetry with a Minor in Education from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I am currently pursuing my Masters degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. My interests include haiku, hiking, comedy, studying Japanese, reading, food, traveling, baseball, and music. I am a very curious person and I enjoy learning about others' hobbies and interests. As a language learner myself, I understand the challenges involved with learning languages, which helps me address student concerns and needs in a constructive way. I teach all kinds of English, including general conversation, business English, TOEIC, TOEFL, Eiken, and kids lessons. I teach a wide range of ages, from two months old to eighty years old. Let me customize English lessons for you. We can use any books, newspapers, movies, songs, or other learning materials you like. I can also create original materials just for you! I love my students' English. There is no bad English. No one has bad English. If you can say "Hello.", that's great. If you can say "Nice to meet you.", that's great. The key is to own your English because it's yours! It's all about enjoying studying and getting better every day. One of my favorite haiku poets is Kobayashi Issa and this is one of his best poems. 蝸牛そろそろ登れ富士の山
Katatsumuri sorosoro nobore Fuji no yama Climb Mount Fuji, O snail, but slowly, slowly. This haiku has many meanings but one of my favorites is that Issa is telling even a snail, which is very slow, to slow down and enjoy climbing Fuji. It's the same with learning. Learning a language is like climbing Mt. Fuji. It's challenging and it takes time. Of course we want to improve every day but we have to make sure we look around and really enjoy the beautiful scenery, we should enjoy the new language we learn. Being a poet, I like to share my love of language with students so that they can experience more fully the joys of studying English. I am a people person and I use humor and a student-oriented approach to create a fun, comfortable learning environment. Your goals are my goals. I hope to meet you soon!
