Hello! My name is Simon, I am 23 years old and I come from Germany. I was born and raised in Essen in the Ruhr Valley. For the past years I have lived in East Timor, volunteering and teaching English and German, and studied my BA in Global Goveranance, Political Science and World Politics in Rome and Saint Petersburg. I have always enjoyed teaching and since last year I have worked as an online German tutor. I love to travel, which is where I discovered my love for languages. Whereever I go, I try to learn a little bit of the local languages. Moreover, whereever I went I met people who were excited about learning German. This made me wanna support this interest and help people to learn German. I hope to help you, too. I am looking forward to our first lesson! Until then, best wishes, Simon
*** Unfortunately, I can't offer lessons to complete beginners at the moment *** Hello, thank you for viewing my profile. My name is Kay and I give German lessons online. I have experience teaching German and English to German natives and to foreigners. I also have experience writing and editing texts for publication, and I have corrected many texts written by non-native German speakers on a different language learning website. I can speak English fluently, so I am able to explain finer points of German in that language as well. I have worked with children deemed "difficult" by others, but I have learned that those labels do not matter and instead try to keep an open mind with every new student and try to help them in their unique situation. I am supportive and easy-going. I am flexible in the way I correct (few or many corrections) and the topics we talk about. I can and do explain grammar, but I'd prefer not to give a grammar lesson and monologue for one hour. I like when my s...

Hello! I'm Egor, and I love to teach. Since I grew up in a bilingual family in a multilingual and multicultural country, I've been interested in languages, literatures, and cultures from my childhood on. I speak German and Russian at a native speaker level, and I'm also fluent in English, French, and Spanish. I've been teaching German since 2013. As a life-long language learner, I know very well what problems the students face when learning German, and this helps me solve all the issues you're confronted with and make your German more correct, fluent, and native. I would be glad to be your German teacher!
ENGLISH VERSION: Hi guys, my name is Giada and I love teaching languages. My high school studies were linguistic, as was my university career. I graduated in Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Pisa, with specialization in English and German. For several years I have deepened the study of these two languages with study trips to various English, German and Austrian cities where I was able to get even better into the language, which I would like to convey to each of my students. For several years I have been working as a tutor for students but also for workers or language enthusiasts who would like to learn a new language from a basic level of competence or level up. The method that my students have always appreciated is based on giving great importance to practice, to everyday and "survival" words to express yourselves and make you understand immediately. Grammar is certainly important as well as the syntactic and morphological rules of the language, but above all ...
Hi, I am Holger Krüger, 39 years old, born in Hamburg, Germany. I quit my life in Germany over 6 years ago and moved to Mexico, where I live with my Mexican wife in the state 'Quintana Roo' in the Caribbean part of the country. In Hamburg, I worked for over 12 years in Marketing with international banks as clients, being a Communication and Key Account Manager. I decided to become a German teacher after my move to Mexico and did not regret it since. I met so many interesting and friendly people. I could help them - learn the language, starting from zero. - brush up their knowledge they had before. - translate documents for migration or job application. - get prepared for official exams like Goethe, TestDaF or Telc. In general I like to first find out, what exactly the goal is for the student and then create a learning strategy. I don't like using pre-set-up programs and like to keep my teachings flexible but structured, always with an eye on the students preferences. Normally i ...
Hello everyone, My name is Pascal and I come from the beautiful area Münsterland in Germany and German is my mothertongue. I work now since January 2018 in south east Asia (Cambodia and Vietnam) as a German teacher for the Goethe Zentrum (Phnom Penh) and for the Goethe Institut in Saigon. I love my job, because I get everytime immediately a feedback from my students about my work. I teach here the language level A1 to C1 as well as the at the ministry of foraign affairs and privat students. Now I want to start to teach online as well. It's very important for me that my students can see shortly after we start our classes together that there communications skills get better. In my opinion is grammar important, but it's not important as the communication. Your grammar can be perfect, but it's not much helpful if you can't pronunce the words correct. That's the reason why we will communicate a lot in my class. Also we can prepare our class together, so that every hour is specialized...
